Welcome

Hello and welcome — I’m Tania Druce, a UKCP-registered therapist based in Brighton and Hove.

I work with children, teenagers, and adults, offering a calm and supportive space to explore current challenges, emotions, and experiences that may feel difficult to manage alone.

With over 20 years of experience working therapeutically with adults, young people, and families, I offer both short- and long-term therapy, as well as EMDR therapy for adults and teens.

My approach is integrative, relational, and creative, and I shape each session around the individual needs of the person I’m working with.

EMDR Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a recognised and evidence-based treatment for trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

EMDR helps the brain process and integrate distressing or traumatic memories so that they can be experienced with less intensity. It can support recovery from both complex trauma and single-event experiences, such as accidents, medical procedures, or assaults.

EMDR uses bilateral stimulation (for example, eye movements, tapping, or sounds) to help reduce emotional distress and promote natural healing.

I offer EMDR therapy for young people aged 15 and over and for adults, adapting the process to suit each individual’s needs, pace, and comfort. EMDR can be offered as a standalone therapy or integrated within longer-term psychotherapy, depending on what feels most supportive for you

Integrative Psychotherapy

My Integrative Therapy approach brings together different therapeutic models and creative techniques, allowing therapy to be truly tailored to each person.

For children and young people, I often use play, art, and creative expression to explore feelings and experiences in a safe and accessible way.

For adults and older teens, I may combine talking therapy with creative or body-based approaches to support deeper emotional understanding and self-awareness.

Integrative therapy can help with a wide range of challenges, including:

  • Trauma and complex trauma

  • Anxiety, stress, and low mood

  • Bereavement and loss

  • Relationship and attachment difficulties

  • Emotional regulation and self-esteem

This flexible, creative way of working honours each person’s individuality — meeting you (or your child) exactly where you are, and supporting your unique path toward healing and growth.
